PROJECT OVERVIEW:

VP Foam Spray successfully completed another important project at a site in Durham. Although external works to contiguous piling can be challenging during this time of year, favourable weather conditions allowed for smooth progress. The team used Enverge Nexseal LE closed-cell spray foam (provided by ThermoFoam) to fill the rebates before applying an average 42mm layer across the sheet piling surface. To ensure long-term protection against UV damage and weather, a sprayable vapour barrier was applied, offering robust waterproofing and durability.

SCOPE OF WORK:

This project focused on insulating steel sheet piling walls using closed-cell spray foam insulation. The primary objective was to create a thermal and waterproof barrier that sealed gaps, minimised heat loss, and protected the structure from moisture, thereby enhancing its durability.
